Tiberio Di Marco

lawyer and co-founder

In almost forty years of practice I have learnt that experience truly bears fruit when it does not make us lose our curiosity.

For me, it means looking at every case with the same attention and interest as the very first time. It is a way of working I also try to pass on to younger colleagues, through dialogue and by sharing experience.

After graduating cum laude from the University of Modena, I became a lawyer in 1990 and was admitted to practise before the Court of Cassation in 2005. Throughout my career I have focused mainly on industrial property law – in particular patents, trade marks, trade secrets and unfair competition – and on commercial contracts.

My career has also been enriched by experience gained directly in the business world: I worked at the holding company of one of Italy’s leading ceramics groups and collaborated with a major intellectual property consultancy. Today I also put this experience at the service of my colleagues at Arco Avvocati. I work with the colleagues who practise employment law on matters concerning the protection of a company’s intangible assets, such as non-compete and non-solicitation covenants, confidentiality agreements and employee inventions.

Over the years, alongside my practice, I have also taught on training courses for businesses in industrial property law, competition law and commercial law.

Searching for the solution is what still drives my passion for this work.

Because every case is different and needs to be seen from a new perspective, always starting from the Client’s interest.
