Jacopo E. Di Marco
lawyer
I believe employment law can be much more than rules and compliance: it can become a tool that enables people to work well and businesses to function better.
I have been a lawyer since 2020 and a certified specialist in Labour and Social Security Law since 2023.
My practice focuses on advisory work and litigation in employment law, social security law and trade union law. I also advise on data protection, with particular attention to issues that intersect with the management of employment relationships.
I believe strongly in the value of preparation and dialogue.
Since 2018 I have been a subject expert (cultore della materia) and a member of the examination board for the Labour Law course at the Department of Law of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. Since 2023 I have also been a full member of the Certification Commission at the Marco Biagi Foundation.
I teach in employment law lectures and seminars organised by the Department of Law of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, and I am adjunct professor of Labour Law (IUS/07) at the Military Academy of Modena.
I am a member of AGI – Avvocati Giuslavoristi Italiani, AIDLaSS Forense – Associazione Italiana Forense di Diritto del Lavoro e della Sicurezza Sociale, AIGA – Associazione Italiana Giovani Avvocati and ASCGIT – Associazione per gli Scambi Culturali tra Giuristi Italiani e Tedeschi. I am also the author of articles on employment law topics published in specialist journals.
Understanding the law also means understanding how the world of work is changing.
It is from this constant interplay between rules, organisations and people that my way of practising law emerges: with expertise, attention to context and a focus not only on solving the problem, but also on what can help build stronger employment relationships.
